Before we unwrap our 2015 Calendar and begin a whole new set of adventures... I believe it is always fun and sometimes surprising... to look back at the experiences from the past year just completed.
The Pages on the 2014 Calendar seemed to flip by faster than a California Screamin Roller Coaster at Launch... So before it all gets away from us... Lets take a look back at all the PNW Mouse Meet happenings over the past 12 months:

FEBRUARY 2014
In February we kicked off our all new PNW Mouse Fit Group and Walking Events.
PNW Mouse Fit was created to help motivate us... and you... to get Fit. Monthly Group Walks around the Puget Sound followed by get togethers for Lunch, Mini-Golf or other fun things...

The PNW Mouse Meet Chartered both the Hawaiian Chieftain and the Lady Washington (used in TV Commercials and the Pirates of the Caribbean Films) for an afternoon of Fun, Mayhem and even a cannon battle on the high seas!
85 Guests filled the two ships to capacity for an adventure we will not soon forget!
Many fans even dressed the part with their favorite Pirate or sailing costumes!
Three hours on this historic sailing ships, a beautiful sunny day and finished off with a cannon battle made this an event to remember and we are already in the planning stages for repeating this amazing event in 2015!

Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees Part 3

Happy Holidays from the PNW Mouse Meet!
Welcome to Part 3 of our Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees!

We always enjoy the incredible Christmas and Holiday Decorations at the Disneyland Resort and can't seem to get enough of them!
On our most recent trip to witness the spectacular explosion that IS the Holidays at Disneyland, we began to notice the numerous, detailed, unique and beautiful Christmas Trees all around the Resort.
Our first Two Blog Posts (CLICK HERE TO READ) we shared the Christmas Trees of Cars Land and all of DCA.

Here we share more of those amazing Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees and this time we take a look all around Disneyland:

As you enter Disneyland you are welcomed by this extravagantly beautiful Disneyland Main Street USA Christmas Tree. Standing 35 feet tall and covered with thousands of twinkling lights... it is a sight to behold... Absolutely amazing during the day and especially at night, which we will get to a little later...

The Main Street Tree is filled with hundreds of wonderful ornaments as far as the eye can see...

Heading to the very back of the Park and into Big Thunder Ranch Jingle Jangle Jamboree... the entertainment stage is set for a whimsical Holiday show including an old west themed Christmas Tree.

The Cabin inside Big Thunder Ranch is themed to Santa's Cottage and hosts an appropriately decorated Christmas Tree. Walking all the way back to Pooh's Corner we find inside his store we find a Tree obviously decorated by Rabbit as it is covered in Carrots and topped with a non so inconspicuous Carrot Sign...

...    ...    ...   ...   ...   ...   ...    ...    ...    ...    ...

We boldly interrupt this Blog to present to you the Christmas Trees of Storybookland!
Enjoy:

And now back to your regularly scheduled PNWMM Blog...

...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...    ...

Now lets go back to Main Street USA where there is an Abundance of Christmas Trees...
Here we go...

First stop on Main Street USA is the Baby Care Center... Even if you don't have a baby with you, this spot is worth a stop to see the Tree, Baby photo of Walt on the wall and other interesting 'things' you will enjoy seeing... Across the street at Coke Corner sits this meticulously decorated tree just inside the door as you enter...

The Plaza Inn is not only home to the Delicious Fried Chicken Dinner... but also hosts not one but TWO
Classic Christmas Trees...

The Starbuck's Shop on Main Street also has two Trees among the various turn of the century decor.

Here we have the Gibson Girls Ice Cream Shop Tree decorated in colors to match the theme of the shop.
Walking along the Main Street sidewalk we also found this Christmas Tree in a great Mickey & Minnie Window Display...

While walking through the various Main Street shops you will find nearly every store has a Christmas Tree and decorated as if the proprietor decorate it themselves... Here are a few:

One of our last stops on our Disneyland Christmas Tree Tour is at City Hall. Although finely decorated, it sits at an angle and could use a little love... or is it meant to be that way... hmmm...

A Very Merry Christmas Parade would not be complete without a rolling Christmas Tree:

And Finally... we return full circle back to Town Square where we look in awe at the amazing, sparkling and glowing Disneyland Main Street Christmas Tree:

Thank you VERY Much for joining us on this tour of Disneyland Christmas Trees!

Be sure to check back as we continue to bring more stories about the Disney Parks.

Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees Part 2

Happy Holidays from the PNW Mouse Meet!
Welcome to Part 2 of our Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees!

Our first Blog Post (CLICK HERE TO READ) we shared the Christmas Trees of Cars Land in DCA.

Here we share more of those amazing Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees and this time we take a look all around Disney California Adventure:

We start the DCA Trees off with the very tall and beautiful DCA Boardwalk Tree.
Amazing color, lots of red and a number of "Hidden" Mickeys make this a tree not to be missed...

Step inside the lobby of Ariel's Grotto Restaurant and you will be rewarded with this wonderful "Under the Sea" themed tree with colors that exude Ariel's undersea home...

A quick peek inside the Elias & Co store you will find this Tree heavy on garland, tinsel and classic ornaments... The perfect tree to sit next to Santa's chair!

Stepping outside and walking to the shops across Buena Vista Street will give you wonderfully themed trees from Trolly Treats, Ink & Paint Store and more...

This tree is well decorated with a whimsical Rock Candy Mountain Train filled with sweet treats!

Back across the street at the Five & Dime on Buena Vista Street you will find this fantastic tree in the Toy Department! I wonder if one of those presents has YOUR name on it??

Take a look inside the entry waiting area of the Carthay Circle Restaurant and you will find this warm and inviting elegant Christmas tree...

The Buena Vista Street Christmas Tree is a sight to see! At over 25 feet tall it is a wonderful centerpiece to a 1920's era city center...
Now lets look UNDER the Tree shall we...

Whimsical detail, classic character toys and presents really compliment the theme, quality and beauty of this classic Christmas Tree!

A special Treat under the Buena Vista Christmas Tree is this homage to Walt Disney's Barn. Walt used to house his backyard scale trains he used to run in his backyard at his Carolwood Street home in the early 1950's... The actual Barn was saved by the Carolwood Foundation and now resides in Griffith Park in Los Angeles... not far from the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank...

The Jumbo Ornaments on this giant tree are highly detailed and themed perfectly to classic Buena Vista Street and crossed with classic Disney character! Fantastic!

The centerpiece Buena Vista Street Tree can been seen from all around and is a beacon to the center of DCA Park, towering over the shops and street below...

We finish off our Tour of the DCA Trees with this Nighttime view of the Beautifully Lit Buena Vista Street Christmas Tree with Carthay Circle in the background...
Be sure to be nearby around 5pm each evening (check listing for exact times) for the Lighting of the Tree which is not to be missed...

We hope you enjoyed this tour of the Disney California Adventure Christmas Trees.
Be sure to check back as we will be posting even more Disneyland Resort Christmas Trees during this Holiday Season...
